South Bend Foodies

Sunny Italy Cafe opened their doors in 1926 in an area called "Little Italy." The family grew up in the local are and were known in the area for years. Most importantly, they are still in their original location. The Bamber's purchased the restaurant in 1940 from another family member and bada-bing it is still run and owned by a Bamber.
You will meet Sis Bamber at our dinner and hear of her love and memories of cooking with her family. You will want to soak up the years of cooking that Sis has learned and the love that comes through her cooking. This is original, authentic and magnifico! Capiche?
I have looked the menu over and feel that ordering off it is the best way to go. The family style was too limited and you know foodies! You want to experience it all!! So here is the menu linkhttp://sunnyitalycafe.com/tools/pdf/Sunny%20Italy%20Menu0508.pdf Notice that nearly all entrees offer salad and hot bread.
So get your mob in order and let me know the who's and have nots for this W4D? Make sure when you RSVP you show up or we will send someone packing for you!!
As usual , we will meet at 5:45pm and seating will be at 6pm. There is no bar at the restaurant but there plenty nearby if you want to wet your whistle first.

Email Ms. Foodie if you would like to attend. Please honor your rsvp because this dinner is made special because of you and your committment. It is our thought that this is liking going to a private dinner at a friends home and people just don't attend and don't call. Others miss out when we count on you!
Got a tip on a restaurant that you want us to visit, send us an email. Feel free to contact South Bend Foodies if you have questions! southbendfoodies@gmail.com
